Better than Polaroid ever made
|

| The FP-100b and FP-100b45 (more pricey 4X5 notes) are superior in many ways to discontinued Polaroid equipment. The Fuji is sharper, has better red sensitivity, better latitude, and has a smoother by and large tonal range. It fits in any of the million Polaroid PACK FILM cameras out there. Question someone if you have a pack film camera before ordering this fantastic film. Also try the FP-3000 WOW quick and sharper than ancient Polaroid 667, better tones too. |
Brilliant second B&W film

| I ongoing out using the FP-100C on my Mamiya 645 Pro to check exposures. The image quality was excellent, but I got a bit tired of the long waits to renovate the test shots. I found the FP-100B online and gave it a try. Aside from rising very promptly, I am extremely pleased with the image quality. It at once helps me determine whether I've chosen the proper camera settings to capture the image that I want. I plot to place this to excellent use on my 4x5 cameras very soon since it's much cheaper than the 4x5 second film. You just have to use the Fuji PA-145 back instead of the Fuji PA-45 back in order to use this smaller second film on a 4x5 camera. |
Decent substitution for disappearing Polaroid film

| I have used this in my Polaroid Automatic 420 and 100 and the results are generally excellent. A decent substitution for 667 but keep in mind that at least in the ancient Land Cameras, the 100 speed requires the "color" background with larger gap, therefore requiring more precise focusing. (The "selling point" in the owners manuals for 3000 speed b/w was "quick focussing" due to the high speed / tiny f stop and resulting long DOF). It's sad to see the "real thing" trudge slowly into the void, but thanks to Fuji, second film is not dead. Yet. |
