During its heydays, earliest Polaroid camera (pre-1963) used instant roll films. These roll films came into two rolls, the positive (developing agent) and the negative one which were loaded into the camera and eventually offered in three sizes.
Later, vintage Polaroid cameras utilized pack films. Photographer should pull the film out of the camera for development. Then peel apart the positive from the negative at the end of the developing process.
It was initially offered in a rectangular format and later, in square series. The latest type of film it used was the square format integral film, in which all components of the film were contained.
